Curated by
Gabriella Anedi, art historian and gallerist active in the field of Fiber Art, the exhibition aims to invite viewers to look with empathy at environmental imbalances which, although focused on particular situations identified in the Aosta Valley, can be read as models of universal alterations.
The title of the exhibition,
Rammendi ambientali, immediately opens up various scenarios embracing the world of textiles and, at the same time, the nature that surrounds us. Elements that converse and intertwine to tell of the eternal work of nature over time and its relationship with humanity.
The nine artists involved were therefore asked to convey an ethical awareness and a symbolic planning approach, essential premises for any intervention on a common good.
Among a variety of textile materials and countless sound, visual and tactile stimuli, the exhibition presents works by Piera Antonelli, Pietrina Atzori, Romilda Boccia, Mariagiovanna Casagrande, Daniele De Giorgis, Daniela Evangelisti, Brenno Franceschi, Chicco Margaroli,
Emilia Persenico.
