Specialisation course in printmaking techniques for art – proj. No. 232195, call: “Dispositivo multimisura formazione superiore” - 2004
When a training body presents a course, it does not always think of the stories told by the individuals who enrol and are selected.
The focus is on job placement, on the end product, which must be “training for work”.
The course that
Lyceum presented in collaboration with Milarte, funded by the
European Social Fund, went further: the cultural differences of the individuals intertwined with the stories of the teachers and with our own. The result was an important course, which did not stop at classroom learning or work placements, but developed into the organisation of an exhibition and the founding of
Unos Juntos, a group that enters the job market with the skills of individuals joined together in a common project.
One can only be optimistic when the European Social Fund finances projects with a broad cultural impact that open up new work prospects. Lyceum thanks Milarte for the high level of quality achieved in its training offer, which allowed us to deepen our experience in the art sector.
Introductory text by Federica Dellacasa (Course Director) and Clara Piazzani (President of Lyceum), for the final exhibition of 2005, Unos Juntos.
