Production and printing of large formats. La città di Brera: Due Secoli di Incisione. Milan, Italy.

"…an enigmatic puzzle...in a play of roles." This is how Rolando Bellini describes it in the text written for the exhibition "Due secoli di incisione", opened in the Napoleonic hall of Brera.
These are several variants of two compositions printed from multiple plates in several colours: Studio per Azione B.D.O. Carabiniere, Studio per Azione B.D.O. Cambiale. For the first stages of preparing the text plates, computer assistance – as it was called in the 1990s – and a cutting plotter were used. An anticipation of today's experiments in integrating digital processes and traditional printing techniques.
