Alik Cavaliere e Vincenzo Ferrari Attraversare il tempo, 2005

A fantastical diary with notes, dates and mathematical formulas. A journey through time and space made up of 12 engraved plates that were exhibited for the first time on the occasion of the exhibition Jarry e la Patafisica, held from May to August 1983 at the Palazzo Reale in Milan. A journey begun with Giorgio Upiglio and never published.

In 2005, at the strong wish of Carla Roncato, founder of the Galleria Derbylius, a limited edition was produced as a co-edition with the atelier and Iceberg edizioni. A portfolio presented to the public several times and shown again in 2018 for the major retrospective of Alik Cavaliere, which, besides Palazzo Reale, involved several venues across Milan. Among them was the Università Bocconi, which hosted a hall dedicated to Attraversare il tempo.

This is the edition that marks the beginning of the collaboration between Daniela Lorenzi and Cristina Balbiano d'Aramengo.

A partnership still active today for projects that require specific bookbinding skills.
