Gianluca Arienti Full moon party, 2020

A14 accompanied the entire printing process of the Full Moon Party project.

The installation conceived for the Omuamua spaces consists of an iron table and LED lights with 6 unique prints printed flat on a hand press on Hahnemühle 300 g paper, 104 x 112 cm, from a litho-offset plate in zinc-coated sheet metal.

A project, developed during the months of lockdown, focused on the polarity between sidereal darkness and tropical brightness, between extreme isolation and excessive sharing. Presented during Walk-in studio.

Visitors are welcomed at the foot of the two palm trees in the courtyard of via Verona 11, in Milan, and guided in groups of 5 at a time into a dark space of 270 m² to discover the works of 12 artists:

Omuamua takes its name from the first interstellar asteroid, detected by the Pan-STARRS telescope of the Haleakala astronomical observatory in Hawaii on 19 October 2017, whose name in ancient Hawaiian means: "messenger that arrives first from afar". Hence the suggestion of a setting that is exotic, luminous and crystalline and at the same time sidereal, violent and dark.
